Zachery Ty Bryan, best known for his role on Home Improvement, was arrested Thursday on charges of second-degree domestic violence, Fox News Digital has confirmed. Bryan remains in custody, according to the Horry County Sheriff's Office in South Carolina.

This marks the latest in a series of legal troubles for the former child star. Back in July 2023, Bryan was arrested in Eugene, Oregon, after a domestic dispute involving an unnamed woman. He faced two counts of fourth-degree assault, although one of the charges was later dropped as part of a negotiated resolution. As a result, Bryan served just seven days in jail, avoiding a lengthy prison sentence of up to 20 months.

Bryan’s legal issues don’t stop there. In October 2024, he was arrested in Oklahoma on a DUI charge after officers found him sleeping in his Range Rover on the side of the road. When Bryan later drove away, he was stopped and taken into custody. During the arrest, Bryan apologized to the officer, saying, "I'm just a good dude, man, I don't know why everybody— I'm sorry, I like to drink."

This incident followed another DUI arrest in California earlier in 2024. In that case, Bryan was charged with felony DUI and a misdemeanor for contempt of court after being pulled over following a traffic collision in La Quinta.

Bryan's ongoing legal issues highlight a troubling pattern for the former actor, who is no stranger to controversy.
