Police Warn: Prank Threats Will Not Be Tolerated; Charges to Be Filed

Authorities are set to file charges against a juvenile who allegedly posted a prank threat on TikTok targeting Lampeter Strasburg Schools.

West Lampeter Township Police received reports of the threat on Thursday evening, prompting an immediate investigation. TikTok and Comcast cooperated with law enforcement, aiding in the identification of the individual responsible. Police confirmed that the juvenile had no access to weapons and determined that the threat was a prank with no credible risk.

“The West Lampeter Police want to stress that such behavior will not be tolerated,” officials stated. “The individual involved will face consequences and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

This incident adds to a growing list of similar threats across Pennsylvania, many of which have been classified as non-credible but have still led to legal action.
